Frequently Asked Questions What You Need to Know About Our Ecologically Safe Oil Well Diverters Will I have to do anything to remove the DGS Divert diverter from the wellbore? DGS Divert is a temporary diverter, it will hydrolyze in the presence of heat and water. When DGS’s PLA Diverters hydrolyze the resulting material is Lactic acid which is biodegradable. Will DGS Divert reduce permeability? DGS PLA Diverters has shown in testing to result in 100% regained permeability. Where are DGS Diverters made? DGS has a plant just outside of St. Louis MO in a small town called Perryville, MO. In that plant nearly all of our products are made from US sourced PLA or other chemistries. Why do you offer different chemistries? DGS offers unique chemistries depending on down-hole temperatures and your desired rate of hydrolysis. Will you return unused diverter? Yes DGS will return any unused material within 60 days of the shipment date unless it is a custom made product.
